Cake, shoes and a cat

Cake, shoes and cats are pretty much my favorite things in the world. So hereby a post dedicated to a homemade carrot cake with walnuts and cocos, my personal grumpy cat and loads of shoes.

(Just so you know, this post is pretty much to keep you busy till school is done. I still have to go a week and a half. Such a short period never seemed so long)

This outfit is pretty much my fave look this week. It's been warm, almost hot and this shirt and trousers are flowy and decent enough to wear to pretty much everywhere. My boyfriend made these pictures today when we were in the city to run some errands. Though, very honestly I have to admit that I didn't wore these shoes the whole time. I just had them in mind with this look and refused to wear my 'comfy' shoes for the pictures. I'm officially a total fashion blogger, I'm almost ashamed for it.

Anyhow, you know those times when you should be working on school and you're not? No? Me neither. I'm working very hard on my last projects! Now I'm a liar too. Good thing I'm quick with sewing, so it doesn't really matter. Only 2 more week to finish all my projects and than one last very important presentation and my summer vacation will start! I'm beyond exited.  Zhe boyfriend and I will be going to Curaçao and lowlands. If school was only finished right now....

It's been a while since you've seen me with jeans here. If I wore 'jeans' it was black or embroidered, but not actual jeans. The last time when I wore them, here, was back in September of 2011. That's been a while. Honestly, I do wear jeans frequently, but somehow they never appear on the blog. These boyfriend jeans are fairly new and I've worn them a lot already.
Anyhow, I wore them with my new T-bar platforms from Topshop. Whilte shooting these pictures, an older lady walked by and started talking to me about these shoes. It was a funny conversation! She found them very "cool".

Around this time of the year, or actually it starts a few months earlier honestly, I get an awfully bad shoe craving. Spring is getting to me at that point and it doesn't stop till summer begins. I got some beautiful sandals a few months ago from Asos and now these.
The pointed shoe is something I've loathed and loved at the same time, but the love part concurred, which explains the soft pink pair. Pretty, powdery, pinkish perfection. 

The other two pairs are just awesome and heaven to walk in. A good platform is always a nice add to a shoecollection.

A Roman Dolce & Gabanna

This dress is the most amazing, fantastic, gorgeous and original dress I own. I saw it in London several weeks ago and when I walked by it again a week later, I just had to take another look at it. The dress was still as gorgeous as I remembered. The organza silk feels so delicate and the print itself is brilliant if you ask me. The dress has a double meaning to me. The great weekend I had while being in London and my dad loves the Romans, which means the print will always remind me of him.

When I just got it, I thought of combining it in a different way, but the weather wasn't very cooperative for the look I had in mind. Perhaps it's something for next month when the temperatures go up.
